If you decide to travel to the south of Uganda on your KIBO, we would advise you to pass by the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is known for its endangered gorillas. The park is also surrounded by dense forests and mountains. In short, a beautiful terrain to drive through!
The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is situated in the south of Uganda. This National Park is known for its endangered mountain gorillas. But this park has more to offer than just gorillas, as it comprises more than 93 mammals and 350 types of birds. It is a wonderful experience to hike through the park under the direction of a guide, who will lead you to the most breathtaking places!

Ruhondeza lodge & campsite
This lodge is situated in walking distance of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The gorillas are practically your neighbours during your stay at this lodge. They sometimes even leave the forest in order to relax in the garden of this resort, one of the things that makes this lodge so special! Furthermore, the owner of this lodge has been gorilla ranger for 23 years, so he can also tell you a lot of experiences at the campfire.
